Ana Maria Cristina Polo Gonzalez was born in Havana, Cuba. Her family moved to Miami after she reached 2 years old. Ana was born and lived in Havana in the Cuban capital. She moved to Miami with her family at the age of 2 following her move from Havana. Ana Maria Polo was born in Habana in Cuba. The present host is the host of the Telemundo Show "Caso Cerrado" which is which is a Spanish TV show which has been nominated for the Daytime Entertainment Emmy Award. In 2015 she also ranked as the most popular Spanish-language show on 4pm for key demonstrations. Polo was born on the 11th, 1959, in Havana Cuba, graduated from Florida International University in Political Sciences. Then she earned the PhD in Law at the University of Miami, and practiced for twenty years in Miami. In the end, she obtained her PhD in law at The University of Miami and practiced law for 20 years in the city of Miami. Polo was first exposed to viewers on television in 2001 on Telemundo's program Sala de Parejas (2001) and other court shows where her expertise in law was utilized. Literary Works and Accolades In 1958, she released her novel Los Hijos Muertos (The dead children) and won the Critic's Prize and Spanish National Prize for Literature. Ana Maria Matute moved to the United States from Spain in 1960. Polo who is a breast cancer patient and cancer survivor, speaks often about her cause. Over the course of her professional career, she's fought for LGBT equality. She graduated in 1987 from the University of Miami School of Law in 1987. She is an active member of the Florida Bar.
