Amber Benson bio

Amber Benson, an American singer-songwriter director and producer is also a writer. Her most well-known work is her part as Tara Maclay on the TV series Buffy the Vampire Slayer and she has also produced and performed in her own film Chance as well as Lovers Liars & Lunatics. In addition, she appeared in the movie Kiss the Bride. Benson was the youngest of children from Edward Benson and Diane Benson. Benson was born in Birmingham, Alabama on the 8th of January 1977. Danielle Benson, her artistic younger sister. Benson was a member of a Reform Jewish synagogue when she was growing up. Her mother, who was Southern Baptist and raised Jewish by her father is also Jewish. Benson is a performer featured in a variety of TV and film series after Buffy ended, has also appeared in The Killing Jar.
